The Colts would not exist without the enthusiasm and commitment of its coaches.
Most of the coaches become involved when their children join the younger teams and then just follow them up through the age groups.
It is important that the coach’s abilities develop along with the players so, to that end, the Colts regularly fund SYFA and other coaching courses. Most of the Colts coaches now hold SFYA coaching qualifications. First Aid courses are also arranged.
All coaches are obliged to go through the Child Protection Disclosure process.
If you would like to become a coach with the Colts simply talk to one of the other coaches. We would be delighted to hear from you. The more coaches there are the better the coaching and the more enjoyable it is all round.
We are especially keen to find the next generation of coaches so if your child is about to start P1 and you both are interested joining Colts please get in touch.
